The City of East Lansing is the proud home of Michigan State University. This Facebook page is administered by City of East Lansing staff in an effort to educate citizens about the City's latest programs, projects and events.
The City of East Lansing provides convenient, free curbside and drop off recycling. Our residents recycle over 3 million pounds of materials annually. Curbside recycling is available to single family households, rental homes, duplexes and most small apartment complexes with up to 20 units. Two drop off sites are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An additional seasonal drop off site for boxboard and cardboard is available late fall through early spring.
